This beautiful titanium material made by Horie Corporation of Japan is put through a rigorous process to control temperatures allowing the grain boundaries or microstructure to become visible to the naked eye. Each crystal reflects light based on its specific orientation and the piece sparkles as it dangles from the ears. Note, that this is not a coating as with common galvanized metals with a similar appearance. Although it's challenging to capture the dynamics of this material in a photograph, it interacts astonishingly with light.
As with all jewelry, it's best to store them in a jewelry case, cloth pouch, or plastic bag to protect the surface finish.
Creating pieces that accentuate the wearers' individuality and style and discovering ideas inside ideas is what keeps me in this work. I take great pride in producing works that will be cherished for a lifetime. Whether you're adding a special piece to your collection or giving a gift to a loved one I hope you enjoy the limited editions and one-of-a-kind jewelry and art work presented here.
